HOLY CRAP! Disney has achieved a new level of capitalism! I think that this time they went too far...
Disney just opened a whole new level of restaurant luxury called 21 Royal. The setting of this restaurant is a private residence that was designed for Walt and Lilian Disney, but the price is OVER 1000 DOLLARS PER PERSON! OMG! That is too much! Do you think it is worth it? Would you pay that much for just a dinner and a view???? Do you think Disney is becoming evil because of this? Or simply is it becoming more evil? (I must say that as much as I LOVE Disney, this might be too much, but it is not Disney's fault, it is capitalism, but that is a discussion for another political science blog.)

My Favorite Villains!
On my last entry I asked for your favorite Disney Villain. To make a fair game I searched for a list of all Disney animated Villains! One of my all time friends (Hernando Cruz) had a very complete list of main villains and some helpers to those villains. That list is divided by movies which makes it totally perfect for this blog! I will add that list (again, it is not mine, the author is Hernando Cruz) and I will tell you my top three villains!!! More importantly, please comment your favorite three villains, because I think it is going to be interesting because that top three might change after reading this blog, so do that little experiment, and tell me your result!

Who is your favorite Disney Villain?
Who is your favorite Disney Villain? Maybe it is The Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, or Captain Hook from Peter Pan, or Ursula from The Little Mermaid, or maybe even Hades from Hercules.
Why is that villain your favorite? What makes that villain so special in order to be more likable over the others? Is Cruella De Vil from One Hundred and One Dalmatians your favorite villain because there is nothing more evil than wanting to kill dogs (yeah, I know, this is one of the most cruel things a villain could do) for their skin? (Probably, that's why NO ONE likes Cruella!) Or is it Hans from Frozen because he truly empowers the selfishness and cruelty of some people in the world? (Not really, I HATED him!) Or maybe it is Ursula because she looks fat and ugly? Or is it Assistant Bellwether (the sheep) from Zootopia because you somehow understand and justify her motives? Or is it Te Fiti from Moana because you TOTALLY understood her and think that she isn't a Disney Villain after all? (Well, she might not have done her evil acts without real intent and that is why I understand her! Nevertheless, one might argue that her acts are worse than MOST Disney Villains: she almost kills the entire nature in the world! If you thought that killing dogs was bad, well how does this sound, huh?)
What I want to say is what do you think makes a villain the best villain? (Probably not their evil acts alone, because as a counterexample we have Te Fiti: the villain that almost accomplish the cruelest thing, yet she is the villain we ALL LOVE! Well, we could even argue that she is not a villain at all!) I think what makes a villain the best or most likable is their reason for doing what they are doing and, to a some small extent, their methods. Clearly a villain without any a reason is not a villain worth having the title of Best or Favorite, in fact, I would say that it is most likely considered as one more villains in the list of Disney Villains. One more villain that nobody cares about. How can a villain who has no reason for doing what he does can be likable or even a villain worth considering interesting? A villain that is a villain for simply being evil is a villain that has no meaning at all besides of the mere fact of existing! On the other hand, with a few exceptions, if their methods are not so cruel like the destruction of every living thing on the planet or like killing people for no apparent reason (yes, I mean killing a person just for being singing, if you know what I mean) then their methods might be justified and maybe even forgiven! However there might be a few recent exceptions (once more, Te Fiti) for reasons that... Oh wait, no more spoilers! If you haven't seen Moana, you shouldn't allow one more day of your life to pass without watching that amazing movie. You should go RIGHT NOW to the theaters and do yourself a BIG favor!
Anyways, who is your favorite Disney Villain? Most importantly, why is that villain your favorite?

My History With Disney
During my first childhood years, I was the biggest fan of Mickey Mouse in the entire world! I remember that on my first (technically the first was inside my mother) trip to Disney World when I was two my parents bought me the biggest Mickey Mouse plush! I grew most of my childhood with Mickey, but eventually he got old and damaged. I cried for weeks his funeral. I can still remember those sad days.
It would be a long time before I made my next trip to Disney World, but it was only the beginning of my story with Disney.
I watched most Walt Disney animated movies while growing up, but the one I can remember Inside Out is Finding Nemo. Some might argue that Disney Pixar movies are not technically Disney... Well, for me they are, and Finding Nemo is my favorite! Now, the first time I watched Nemo was at the age of six. My godmother loves to tell the story of how I was sitting in her bedroom and I couldn't stop crying, and whenever I went to her house, she would play Nemo again and again just to watch me cry! (more of a cute and not cruel kind of way) I watched Finding Nemo more times than those I can count.
Whenever I tell my friends this story, they would laugh at me. ¨Who cries watching Nemo,¨ they would say in a sarcastic tone. Well, it was not long before KARMA! Before I watched them crying while we watched Nemo. WAIT! They were not seven, they were seventeen! HA, at least I had a valid excuse!
The reason why we decided to watch Finding Nemo was not because Finding Dory was being released in theaters, but because one of our friends had never seen any Disney (not even Pixar) animated movie before! I know, that is like living your entire childhood without being a child! So, we created a five-day marathon in order to try to give our friend some sort of late childhood. Clearly, one entire day was dedicated to Pixar movies because they are equally AMAZING!
